Privacy & Data Protection

Privacy Policy

This policy explains how JENECONK Education Suite handles personal data and school workflow data for teachers, schools, administrators, students, payments, support, and AI-assisted classroom documents.

Effective date: July 3, 2026

1. Scope

This policy applies when you visit EDU Suite, create an account, join a school workspace, generate or import teaching content, use report-comment or school-report tools, make payments, request support, or interact with the platform in any other way.

EDU Suite is operated by JENECONK Integrated Global Solutions Limited from Nigeria. We aim to handle personal data responsibly and in line with applicable Nigerian data-protection expectations, including the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 where it applies.

2. Data we collect

We may collect and process:

  • account details such as name, email address, phone number, password-authentication records, and role
  • school details such as organization name, teacher seats, invitations, workspace roles, and administrator records
  • teaching inputs and outputs such as schemes, curriculum references, lesson notes, diagrams, assessments, answer keys, records of work, report comments, and school reports
  • student-related data supplied by a teacher or school, such as names, scores, attendance, class, report-comment context, and academic performance notes
  • uploaded files used for imports or exports, including PDF, Word, Excel, scheme, curriculum, or school-report documents
  • payment records such as plan selected, amount, reference, payment status, verification status, and billing support notes
  • technical and security records such as device/browser information, IP-derived security signals, session activity, usage logs, error records, AI request logs, audit logs, and support history

3. Why we use data

We use data to:

  • create accounts, school workspaces, teacher access, and administrator controls
  • generate, save, reopen, edit, print, and export classroom-ready materials
  • connect schemes of work, lesson notes, assessments, records of work, report comments, and school reports
  • verify payments, activate plans, enforce subscription limits, prevent overuse, and handle manual payment review
  • respond to support requests, account recovery needs, complaints, and abuse reports
  • secure the service, investigate suspicious activity, monitor reliability, and improve product quality
  • meet legal, accounting, tax, regulatory, security, and dispute-resolution obligations

4. School and student data

EDU Suite is designed for teachers and schools. Where a teacher or school uploads or enters student data, the school or teacher must have the authority to use that data for legitimate educational purposes. Student data should be limited to what is necessary for the selected workflow.

Report comments, school reports, assessment records, attendance references, and similar workflows may include minors' data. We process that data only to provide the requested educational workflow, support the school, keep records secure, prevent abuse, and comply with lawful obligations. We do not sell student data.

5. AI and service providers

When you request AI-assisted output, relevant teaching context may be sent to approved AI providers to produce lesson notes, diagrams, assessments, report comments, or related classroom material. We also use providers for hosting, authentication, database storage, email, payment verification, analytics, logging, and support.

  • Supabase supports authentication, database, and storage workflows.
  • Paystack may support payment initiation and verification where enabled.
  • Anthropic may support lesson generation and other advanced teaching outputs.
  • OpenAI may support diagram, visual, or text-assistance workflows where enabled.
  • Brevo or similar email providers may deliver confirmation, reset, and platform messages.

Providers receive only the information reasonably needed to perform their services. We do not authorize them to sell your personal data.

6. International processing and transfers

Some providers may process data outside Nigeria, including in the United States or other jurisdictions. Where this happens, we use available contractual, technical, organizational, and provider safeguards appropriate to the service and assess transfers in light of applicable Nigerian data-protection requirements.

7. Sharing

We may share limited information with:

  • authorized school administrators inside the relevant school workspace
  • service providers needed to operate hosting, AI, payments, email, support, security, and logging
  • professional advisers, payment providers, banks, regulators, or public authorities where legally required or necessary to protect users and the platform

We do not sell personal data or student data.

8. Retention

We retain data only for as long as reasonably needed to provide saved workspaces, payment verification, support, security, auditability, fraud prevention, accounting, dispute handling, and legal compliance.

  • saved lesson and school-workflow content may remain available until deleted or the account/workspace is closed
  • payment, billing, fraud-prevention, audit, and security records may be retained longer where legally or operationally necessary
  • support, complaint, and abuse reports may be retained for follow-up, evidence, and service improvement

9. Security

We use authentication safeguards, role-based access, protected server routes, database controls, payment verification, usage limits, audit logs, and operational monitoring. No online service can promise absolute security, so users must also protect their email accounts, passwords, devices, and school access.

10. Your rights and requests

Subject to applicable law, identity verification, school authority, and lawful retention needs, you may request access, correction, deletion, export, restriction, or clarification of eligible personal data. Some payment, fraud-prevention, audit, security, tax, or dispute records may need to be retained even after an account is closed.

Procurement, compliance, or privacy teams may request JENECONK's current data-protection contact and compliance reference through the support channels below.
